Château Penin, Natur, Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France, 2019

The Natur Cuvée is vinified and stored without any addition of sulphur and this is bright and amazingly approachable for a 2019. It has a wonderful aroma of freshly picked bramble berries, blackcurrants and black cherries with flavours of red cherry juice and eucalyptus on the palate. Silky and smooth texture, ripe and soft with acidity that's gently mouthwatering. The tannins kick in on the mid palate with a touch of liquorice and menthol on the tongue giving the overall taste depth and grip.
