Expressive nose, black cherry, liquorice, cinnamon, horse - something a bit savoury? A little sour and tart at first, bright and zingy with high acidity, before the grainy texture comes in giving grip to the mouth. Feels a little young and reductive still, has structure and power underneath, but it's a bit restrained at the moment and feels a little tense. Good potential. From a 15ha Côte de Bourg property certified organic and farmed organically since 2010. A blend of 10 Cabernet Sauvignon, 10 Cabernet Franc and 80% Merlot. Ageing six months in barrels then vats.
