The second wine of both La Mission and Haut-Brion, assembling the younger vines from both estates. 73% Sémillon, 27% Sauvignon – the Sauvignon resisted less well to the August rains so is slightly less aromatic than usual, so there is a higher percentage in the first wines. It means that this is a mellow, fairly rich and serious Clarté; very attractive.<br /> 55% new oak.
