Bertrand’s children François and Ludivine are also involved in their Nuits-St-Georges family estate, which has led to a drive for full organic certification. Lettre d’Eloïse is a serious, complex example of Pinot Noir at this price level, with floral, leafy notes and plenty of dark cherry and berry fruits allied to crisp acidity and a fine mineral thread on the finish. Very nicely done.
