Bouchard Père & Fils, Puligny-Montrachet, Burgundy, 2017

This Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel tanks then aged in partial new oak for 10 months. It has a lovely stone fruit nose, flinty with hints of vanilla. It’s crisp and mineral, yet textured on the palate, with lime and apple fruit decorated by vanilla oak spice which add extra layers and depth.
