Château de Laborde, Cuvée H Pinot Noir, Bourgogne, 2020

Château de Laborde sources most of its grapes for Cuvée H from around Santenay, south of the Côte de Beaune. It's a fine example of Bourgogne Rouge, showing fleshy ripe fruit and crisp acidity keeping the palate fresh, with subtle oak adding further complexity. Crunchy, red berry notes on the finish. A very grown-up style which overdelivers for its regional designation. Lots to enjoy and savour.
