Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, Pommard, 1er Cru Jarollières

Imposing black cherry and mint nose, if not very Pinot. Huge but supple tannins and very concentrated fruit – no harshness, though it's still very youthful. Balanced by good acidity that gives some line and length.
