Domaine Guillemot-Michel, Viré-Clessé Quintaine, Burgundy 2021

This unoaked white Burgundy is produced by a small biodynamic estate, fermented in tile-lined vats, kept on its lees until the summer and then bottled. Glinting with gold hints in the glass, it's fairly rich in style, but with the freshness of the 2021 vintage, dripping with lemon curd citrus zestiness and a touch of leesiness. A real pleasure to drink.
