Produced and bottled for Davy's by brothers Pascal & Laurent Borgeot at their domaine in Remigny. Sourced from 40-year-old vines and with 20% of the blend matured in new oak, there is plenty of interest on the nose and the wine displays a deep, intense colour in the glass. Good ripeness to the fruit - dark cherry and blackberry on the palate with a crunch of fresh acidity which cuts through the ripeness. Subtle oak notes add further dimensions on the finish. Very nicely done.
