Domaine Paul Pillot, Chassagne-Montrachet, 1er Cru

Firm hazelnut and apple nose, quite toasty. Richly fruity attack, but taut thanks to fine acidity. This is mineral and chewy, with ample concentration. The fruit is still reticent but the wine is well balanced and long, with a nutty finish.
