A serious Bourgogne, Bize's Perrières opens in the glass to reveal a pretty bouquet of red and black cherries, pot pourri and subtle spice. This is followed by a deep, full-bodied palate that is quite powerful for its level, with a nice core of fruit and fine tannins. Quite a ripe rendition of this dependably excellent cuvée.
