A good reminder that not all white Burgundy is Chardonnay! This simple, unoaked wine made from 100% Aligoté showcases another aspect of one of France's premier wine regions. Aligoté doesn't have the prestige of Chardonnay, but has been planted in Burgundy since the 18th century. This is a good introduction to its typical characteristics: green-gold in the glass, in the mouth you'll find herby notes and crisp acidity.
