Louis Jadot is a reliable way in to Burgundy, and this St-Véran is even better than usual in the fabulous 2018 vintage, which gave a generous crop of perfectly ripe grapes, including here in south Maconnais. It's like biting into a slice of lightly buttered toast with a thin spreading of lemon curd.
