Maison Roche de Bellene, Chambertin Grand Cru, 2014

Fairly deep red. Lean but perfumed red-fruits nose, intense and stylish, with great purity of fruit. Rich, suave, and very concentrated, this has depth and power, but the tannins are refined and balance the fine acidity. Elegant, with a lifted finish and good length. Pricy, of course, but built to last.
