Moutard, Les Vignolles, Crémant de Bourgogne, Burgundy

This Champagne house has had a foot in Burgundy since 2004. Les Vignolles is from a single plot of about 1.5 hectares, 100% Chardonnay. It has a glorious tropical fruit character with a touch of cream and spice. A sweet stone fruit note runs through the core and lingers on the finish with some vanilla highlights, lifted by the fresh acidity and energetic but not aggressive bubbles.
