Taittinger, Nocturne Rosé Sec, Champagne NV

Sec is a slightly sweeter style than the more usual brut, and the 17.5g/l of residual sugar in this rosé Champagne lends it body and richness, making it an ideal pairing for a raspberry pavlova, or even just a bowl of summer fruits. This blend of fruit from over 30 vineyards has quite an intense aroma of creamy, sweet strawberries, while in the mouth it has plenty of raspberry fruit with a subtle undercurrent of nectarine sweetness and a touch of brioche. Prickly spices help to add definition to the full, round palate.
