An unusual blend for Champagne, this is 55% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and the remainder Chardonnay. Made for The Wine Society by Boizel, it's delightful: golden in the glass, with a delicate but fruit-forward style – lots of apple and yellow plum. Softly creamy, very approachable but most of all with lovely purity of fruit. I've made a mental note to buy more.
