Tesco, Finest Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Signargues, Rhône 2020

A hot year produced ripe fruits for this cheerful Côtes du Rhône Villages. A perfumed nose of rose water, red fruits and cream chocolate dusted with sweet spices. The wine was aged for 10 months in concrete tanks, which preserved the fleshy red and black cherry flavours on the palate, plus fragrant potpourri and black pepper. The scented red fruit flavours come through to the end. Great value at £8 per bottle.
