Calmel & Joseph, Cérès Ams Tram Gram, Languedoc, France 2022

Bright and bold aromas of honeydew melon and freshly sliced apple make for an appetising introduction to this southern French rosé, a blend of Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Grenache. The palate pushes forth with big sweet cherry fruit, good concentration and good length. Quite a rich style in its weight and density in the mouth, but there’s a refreshing pithy note and lick of spice to the finish.
