A dark colour in the glass, the nose is immediately aromatic with juicy black fruit and a whiff of meatiness, smoky blackberries, blueberries, black plums, charred meat, and dried herbs. Ripe and a little jammy on the palate, where lots of blueberry fruit comes through. There's a richness to the texture, with soft, supple, tannins. Medium length. And there's a gentleness too, in its rounded edges. It's very drinkable, soft and fruity.
