Cave Fonjoya, Terres d'Arboras, Mont Baudile, 2020

This blend of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvedre from the northern Languedoc, located between Larzac and Pézanas, is ripe and crunchy, full of black fruits, black and white pepper, floral overtones and hints of dried herbs. In the mouth it's richly textured, intense yet balanced by good acidity. There's a fresh balsamic quality on the finish which freshens things up nicely.
