From vines grown on schist terraces and slopes, there is a coastal influence here with strong winds that cool the vines in an otherwise warm and dry environment. Sweet cherry and raspberry fruit is accompanied by a touch of black pepper. There is a hint of jammy richness on the finish, but it remains beautifully fresh.
