A real standout among the Aldi reds thanks to its vibrant fruit intensity, refreshing acidity and tug of tannins. Forward Merlot-led aromas of cassis supported by a herbal violet lift from the Shiraz continue on the full, round palate which boasts delicious dusky blackcurrant pastille juiciness. Friendly and approachable but with the structure to age a few years too.
