Domaine Piétri-Geraud, L'Écume, Collioure 2021

This blend of Grenache Blanc, Vermentino and Marsanne from schist terraces between Collioure and Banyuls is fermented in stainless steel with no malo. It's then matured for around six months in new Burgundian oak barrels, which impart a lovely creaminess. Peachy, floral and fresh aromas are complemented by zesty and saline flavours of white peach, citrus, spice and wood, leading to a long, balanced, floral finish. Best with seafood.
