Lorgeril, Miren de Lorgeril Assemblage Chardonnay/Viognier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 2022

I was a bit dubious about this smartly labelled blend of Chardonnay and Viognier – often with a blend of two grape varieties like this, I'd rather drink one or the other. But this actually works. If you're looking for an inexpensive, simple, unoaked white, this will fit the bill, offering juicy, round peachy fruit aromas and flavours. Fresh, and easy going.
