Paul Mas, Le Berceau Picpoul Chardonnay Frisante

Very much an alternative to Prosecco, this Frizzante sparkling wine has a very pale colour and soft mousse. Fresh pear fruits on the palate have a pleasant bite of acidity to match the ripe, succulent Chardonnay fruit and zesty, slightly saline tones of the Picpoul. Easy drinking but a clever direction for the producers of Picpoul to take. Not complex but highly refreshing. Dosage of 10g/l rounds of a very classy tank method wine.
