Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Picpoul de Pinet, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 2023

From vineyards close to Etang de Thau and the Mediterranean, this good value Picpoul has nice freshness and varietal character. Elegant citrus aromas with hints of pear lead to a crisp mineral citrus palate with some pear-fruit ripeness mid-palate, but finishing with a fresh snap thanks to the variety's signature high acidity. A versatile summer white at a great price.
