Morrisons, The Best Pouilly Fume, Pouilly-Fumé, Loire, France 2020

An floral, elegant Pouilly Fumé made by Domaine Hervé Séguin for Morrisons. Plenty of fresh pears, white blossom and an aromatic undertone of passion fruit on the nose. Crisp green fruit acidity is rounded by umami and the slightly oily texture, clean and long, with lime peel bitterness on the finish. Matured in stainless steel for 10 months.
