This organically farmed rosé has a fairly prominent aroma of red apple skin, cherry and baked strawberries. There's a woody creaminess in the mouth which holds back the insistent red fruit and peppery spices - this is a detour from the typically elegant Provence style, but its punch and not-quite-polished character likely makes this a better choice with most foods. There's a tingling acidity that hangs around, but doesn't quite cut through on the palate.
