Miraval usually makes the headlines because of its celebrity owners (Brad Pitt, and formerly Angelina Jolie until she sold her share following their split). But the wine is really rather good too, and has established a firm following among lovers of a good Provence rosé. Produced biodynamically and exclusive to Waitrose, this new listing is at the premium end price wise, but delivers in terms of quality. It's elegant, with aromatic, tangy and full-flavoured red berry fruit. There is 20% Rolle (the local name for Vermentino) in the blend, alongside the usual Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. Whispering Angel fans should definitely give this a try.
