A lean, muscular, tannic wine, but beautifully balanced, the firm acidity of Vinsobres – the most northerly of the southern Rhône crus – lifting the intense red berry fruit profile. The Grenache (60%) shouts loud over the Syrah, delivering an appealing minerally freshness. Enjoy with a slab of protein.
