Domaine Santa Duc, Les Hautes Garrigues, Gigondas, 2012

This Gigondas is made from old vines in a high altitude, single vineyard site. Quite full and savoury, it has intense black fruits on the palate that display plenty of juiciness, despite the fine tannic structure. Beautifully sculpted, the long finish reveals blueberry hints, with more to come with some additional bottle age.
