Famille Perrin, Studio Blanc by Miraval, Rhône, France, 2019

An outpouring of stone fruits from the glass, ripe peaches, pears, citrus plus a hint of white blossom and reductive flint on the nose. Made in tulip-shaped concrete vats, which serves the similar effect of batonnage, the wine features a oily and textured palate, with crisp apple and lime fruits. This is a white wine made from 100% Rolle, the main local white grape at the foot of the Cézanne’s mountain of Southern Rhône.
