This estate comprises 13 hectares of vineyards. With limestone in the soil at 400m altitude, and the easterly breeze of the morning Pontias wind, the scene is set for a balanced white that combines southern ripeness with freshness running through it. ‘My father planted the four varieties mixed together, but now we harvest them one by one when each is ready,’ says Adrien Fabre, indicating a keen and increased commitment to detail on this 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne and 10% Viognier wine.

The nose is mild, a little hidden, but offers lime and some depth, with the oak layered onto it. The palate reveals tangy marmalade and natural length and persistence. True to its place.

Interesting nose: rich, dense pineapple with some spice and herb qualities. The plush fruit palate is well oaked, finishing long.

Gorgeous fruit on the nose and palate. Overall this is clean and fresh with a salty, mineral edge. Young, juicy Viognier with peach and herbal tones. Rounded but also quite grippy, showing varietal richness with pitch-perfet balancing acidity. Polished and very well-made.
