Fermented in qvevri and aged in oak barrels for 18 months, the Saperavi features savoury spices on the nose, which opens up to a rich bouquet of red and dark plums, Christmas cake and dried cranberry. Ripe and smooth tannins provide the structure; elegant cassis and dark plum are seasoned with cedar wood spices. Salivating acidity and sour cherry notes follow to the long finish.
