Haltinger, Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs, Baden, Germany, 2015

This interesting white, labelled as a 'blanc de noirs', is made from Pinot Noir. It has a hint of tropical fruit and cream on the nose. The palate is robust and perhaps could do with a bit more of an acid pinch to give balance. An interesting saline character and long mineral finish.
