Outside of Burgundy, Germany has some of Europe's most enjoyable examples of Pinot Noir – which they call Spätburgunder – and they're usually more expensive than this (though this has gone up in price since the last vintage). From Germany's Baden region, this Pinot Noir is made from hand-picked grapes, farmed organically. Bright and juicy, with redcurrant fruit and a hint of spicy oak. Light in style, this would be a good, straightforward match for turkey.
