From Germany's Baden region, this Pinot Noir is made from hand picked grapes, farmed organically. Bright and juicy, with spicy redcurrant fruit and a hint of spicy oak. Outside of Burgundy, Germany has some of Europe's most enjoyable examples of Pinot Noir (which they call Spätburgunder), and they're usually more expensive than this.
