Heinrichshof, Schlossberg Riesling, Mosel, Germany, 2016

Peter Griebeler farms 6ha at his family estate in Zeltingen. This is a serious, bone-dry Riesling with a floral, flinty nose leading to a surprisingly weighty palate of tight but ripe lemon and stone fruit lifted by bristling acidity and a seam of slatey minerality. Precise, long and vibrant.
