Morrisons, The Best Riesling, Pfalz, Germany 2020

Sourced from Pfalz, this is a crisp, mineral German Riesling with brilliant drinkability. Petrol, nectarine and green apple on the nose, with citrus zest, star fruit and more green fruits on the palate. Some sweetness (7g/l residual sugar) softens the cleansing acidity (6.7g/l), making the wine more approachable. The 2020 vintage was made by Reh Kendermann GmbH, one of the largest wine exporters in Germany which also produces the Black Tower brand.
