Stepp, Kallstadter Saumagen S Riesling, Pfalz, Germany, 2018

This wine comes from the vineyard of Saumagen in the village of Kallstadt. It's wild-yeast fermented then aged on its lees for six months. Flinty and mineral on the nose, it has plenty of stone fruits, sweet pears and white flower aromas. It's bone-dry (2g/l of sugar) on the palate with lifted apple and pear blossom notes leading to a clean, fresh finish.
