Lidl, Hans Lang Classic Riesling, Rheingau, Germany, 2016

Classic dry German Riesling, with a hint of petrol on the nose, and juicy lime fruit on the palate. Very exuberant now but also fine and racy. It will keep for a few years too, if you want to buy a few bottles and put some under the stairs. Great quality for the price, this wine pick of all the whites in this Lidl’s new summer range.
