A new addition to Waitrose Cellar and a real treat to be able to buy a Riesling with a touch of bottle age that's really starting to do what Riesling does best. Awesome, highly aromatic notes of lime, key lime pie, lemon confit, waxy lemons and beeswax introduce us to this high class wine. You'll find the palate is concentrated and soaked with lemon, honey and lime flavour, with a cool note of black slate down the middle. The vines are more than 40 years old, planted on steep slopes overlooking the Rhine river at up to 50° gradient.
