Blütengarten also makes a Pinot Noir for Aldi for the same price, but this is the better of the two, with more balance and structure from acidity and soft tannins. It's nothing complex, but offers a friendly mouthful of succulent red and black berry fruit, some sweeter cherryade notes and a sprinkling of spice. A nice pairing for pork chops.
