In the last 20 years or so, the dynamic Karavitakis family has overhauled its vineyards, built a new winery and planted new varieties. Viticulture is sustainable, with no chemicals used. This unoaked blend of the Cretan white grape Vidiano with Assyrtiko and Malvasia weighs in at 14% alcohol and is bursting with lush stone fruit. There's some citrus peel and herbiness too. Quite rich and concentrated, this is fragrant and fruit-forward.
