The Greek white wine renaissance isn’t all about fresh and lively Assrytikos to sip in the summer sun, as this Semillon-Assyrtiko blend shows. It’s textured and full with characters of apricot, set honey and flint. There are hints of hazelnut and vanilla too and a lush acidity which envelops all that aromatic tropical fruit. Great length.
