Floral perfume and ripe peach on the nose, green citrus and more stone fruits on the palate. Ageing on lees for five months gives the wine a textured depth, refreshed by decent acidity (5.5g/l). White peach and more perfumed blossom, plus a pinch of spice on the finish, hinting at the 13.5% alcohol. A characterful Assyrtiko from the Naoussa region of Macedonia, produced by Kir-Yianni, a local producer founded in 1997.
