Lidl is great at sourcing good-value wines from Central and Eastern Europe. This dry Furmint is a cracker – lots of attractive crunchy pear and green apple aromas and flavours, with a fresh, almost leafy edge. Juicy but breezy, this would go down a treat with or without food. Perfect to accompany a seafood starter.
