Recanati, Carignan-Petite Sirah, Israel 2020

Another solid vintage of this full-bodied, ripe, smooth red, predominantly old, dry-farmed, bushvine Carignan. More gentle oak handling has helped the deep, velvety damson and bramble fruit shine, but has left a pleasant dusting of vanilla and spice. Would be delicious with steak and ale pie.
