Cantina Tollo, Mo Riserva, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, 2018

Vinified in stainless steel for freshness then matured in oak for nine months for body and complexity, this structured Riserva is bold and very spicy, with fleshy balsamic black fruits, a hint of dried potpourri, and then a long, super-fresh finish. The fruit is a little bit lost at present but should emerge with time in bottle (or in the glass).
